Solan: The Alpha School of Bahra University successfully organized the second edition of the Alpha Gaming League – PRIMA 2026, continuing its initiative to promote esports culture within the university community. With this event, Bahra University strengthened its reputation as a leading institution encouraging competitive gaming among students in Himachal Pradesh.
The tournament attracted enthusiastic participation from students representing various universities, colleges, and schools across the region. In an era where technology and gaming are an integral part of youth culture, the event provided a structured and competitive platform for students to demonstrate their gaming talent and strategic skills.
The competition featured two popular esports titles, BGMI and Free Fire, where participants showcased teamwork, coordination, and high-level gameplay.
In the final results, Shimlawaasi secured the championship title in BGMI, while Lake of Fire emerged as the winners in Free Fire. Both winning teams were awarded a cash prize of ₹10,000.
The organizers highlighted that the Alpha Gaming League aims to encourage esports at the university level and provide young gamers with opportunities to participate in organized competitive events. The successful second edition further reflects Bahra University’s commitment to developing a vibrant university gaming ecosystem.
