Shimla
In St. Thomas’ School, Shimla, special events commemorating Baisakhi, Ambedkar Jayanti, and Himachal Day were organized by students of classes 6, 7, and 8 on April 10, 2024.
They showcased diversity through cultural displays, including cuisine and attire, and presented poems related to the Constitution, Himachal Pradesh, and Baisakhi. The students performed Gidda in Punjabi attire and raised awareness about Baba Sahib Ambedkar and the Indian Constitution.
Mrs. Vidhupriya Chakravarty, the school’s Principal, graced the occasion as chief guest and commended the students for their efforts in promoting unity in diversity and equality, extending Eid greetings and her best wishes to all.
