The initiative aimed at equipping participants with essential life-saving skills and practical knowledge to handle medical emergencies effectively within the school campus.
The session was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Anuradha, Head of Programs, with the support of Ms. Priyanka and Ms. Shweta, who delivered detailed demonstrations along with hands-on practical training. Moving beyond theoretical understanding, the workshop focused on real-time simulations to build confidence, awareness, and quick decision-making abilities among participants.
Key areas covered during the training included:

* Step-by-step CPR demonstration and supervised practice
* Safe management of fractures until professional medical help arrives

* Effective response during choking incidents
Teachers and students participated enthusiastically in practical demonstrations and scenario-based exercises, ensuring a clear understanding of both theoretical concepts and their real-world application.
Addressing the gathering, Ms. Anuradha shared that this marks the first initiative of its kind at the school, supported by a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening the institution’s safety framework. She emphasised that empowering educators and young learners with practical emergency skills is a vital step towards ensuring student well-being and fostering a culture of preparedness.
Reuben John, Principal of Auckland House School for Boys, appreciated the initiative and stated, “At Auckland House School for Boys, education goes beyond academics. Building awareness, resilience, and life-saving skills among our students and staff is essential in today’s world.
