Bilaspur
A man was killed and his son injured in a horrific accident on the Bilaspur-Ghumarwin road. The deceased has been identified as Nand Lal (54), a resident of Sungal, Tehsil Sadar.
According to reports, the accident occurred when Nand Lal was traveling to Ghumarwin on his bike with his 15-year-old son, Dinesh. As they approached the Ali Khad bridge, their bike collided with a stray animal, causing both father and son to fall on the road and suffer injuries.
Immediately after the accident, passersby rushed them to the regional hospital for treatment, where doctors declared Nand Lal dead, while the son is undergoing treatment. ASP Bilaspur Shiv Chaudhary confirmed the incident. He stated that a case has been registered at the Sadar police station and further investigation is underway.
