A wasp bite in Chalaihli village, subdivision Ghumarvi, tragically claimed the life of a 33-year-old lady. The body has been given to the family by the police after a post-mortem was completed. Mani Devi, Devraj’s wife, reportedly suffered a wasp bite close to her home. She received first assistance at the Community Health Center of Harlog after being taken there right away by her relatives. She received treatment and was released from the hospital that same day.
But three days later, Mani Devi’s condition abruptly worsened once more. Her relatives promptly transported her to the Bilaspur regional hospital as her health deteriorated. However, when she arrived at the hospital, the medical staff pronounced her dead.
The police crew arrived at the scene as soon as they received information about the occurrence. Devraj, Mani Devi’s husband, and members of her maternal family were interviewed by the police. The in-laws were not questioned in the slightest by the maternal side. A case has been filed, and the police are looking into it. The woman’s body was submitted for a post-mortem at AIIMS Bilaspur. The body was given to the family following the post-mortem. The locals are saddened by this occurrence.
