He instructed the officials of the Education Department to coordinate with the Postal Department and organize necessary Aadhaar card updation camps for children in the age group of 5 to 7 years and 15 to 17 years in all the schools of the district, so that the children of this age group Necessary Aadhaar updation can be done in schools only. He instructed the Postal Department officials to organize camps for Aadhaar card updation and new Aadhaar enrollment in the gram sabhas organized in Panchayats in the month of January so that people can get it done near their homes.
He instructed the health department officials to ensure Aadhaar registration when children are born in hospitals and to complete whatever necessary steps need to be taken for this. He instructed the District Leading Bank Manager that in order to increase the facility of Aadhaar registration in the district, all those banks including SBI, UCO and PNB banks which have high number of account holders, should ask their higher officials to set up Aadhaar registration and updation centres.
