11 resolutions in our manifesto for women, all will be fulfilled on priority: Jai Ram Thakur

During our tenure of five years, we have run not one but many schemes for women empowerment. We have made 11 commitments for women in this manifesto, which we will fulfill.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said this while addressing a huge public meeting at Nerwa of Chaupal Vidhan Sabha. On Monday, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur campaigned for BJP candidate Surendra Shourie in Banjar Assembly, Balveer Verma in Chaupal, Govind Ram Sharma in Arki and Sanjay Sood in Shimla Urban.
Addressing an election rally in Nerwa, the Chief Minister said that today the people of Congress say that Jai Ram government has not done anything. The truth is that the people of Congress are also taking advantage of the schemes launched in our government. Even their electricity and water bill is zero which they can’t accept. He said that the condition of the Congress is such that their leaders are no longer in a position to go among the people because the development of the state was done by the BJP government. We Started many schemes for women of poor families, whose benefits are being availed by lakhs of people of the state.
*’BJP is a responsible party and it does what it says’*
The Chief Minister said that BJP is a responsible party and it does what it says. The Chief Minister said that we worked honestly and close to the poor for five years. Congress never thought about the poor. The situation is such that today the Congressmen are not in a position to go among the people. He said that Congress people say that we will put 1500 rupees in the account of women. These are all false promises. Jai Ram Thakur said that Congress had said in 2012 that they will give jobs from every household. In 2012, unemployment allowance was announced to unemployed youth, that too was not given.
*’Our manifesto, our promise’*
Addressing an election rally at Gadagushaini, Banjar, the Chief Minister said that the manifesto of our party is our promise. We don’t make false promises like Congress. He said that our government has developed every area of the state in five years. Jai Ram Thakur said that the manifesto of our party was released on Sunday. At present our government is giving 31 thousand for the marriages of daughters of BPL family and in the coming time 51 thousand rupees will be deposited in the account of these daughters, this is our promise. Scooty will be given to the daughters pursuing higher education. We are also promising to provide 33 percent reservation for women in government jobs. Will fill 3 cylinders in a year to poor families. The Chief Minister said that out of the 72 lakh population of the state, about 36 lakh are women. Our government has run many schemes to provide full rights to half the population, whose benefits are being taken by the women of the state.
*’Congress does not see development until it comes in their pocket’*
Addressing a public meeting in Arki, the Chief Minister said that Congress does not see development until something comes in their pocket. Congress knows only one thing that is corruption. Whenever Congress was in power, they have looted the country and the state with both hands. Jai Ram Thakur said that the Bharatiya Janata Party government is going to be formed again in Himachal Pradesh. We will definitely change the *”Rivaz”*. Targeting the Congress, he said that whenever we talk about changing the *”Rivaz”*, the people of Congress feel uneasy about it. One of their leaders even says how the *”Rivaz”* will change. The Chief Minister said that not all work is done by big leaders, some work is also done by ordinary people.
He said that we make policies to empower the women and our motto to empower, strengthen the half the population of the state and we are committed towards it and it reflects in our *”Sankalp Patra”*
