Shimla, June 18, 2025: A grand Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Sabha was organized today by the Bharatiya Janata Party Sanjauli Mandal, Shimla. BJP Yuva Morcha State President Tilak Raj was present as the keynote speaker in this program. Local workers, Yuva Morcha members, and citizens participated enthusiastically in the meeting.
Addressing the gathering, Tilak Raj said that there is a need to further accelerate the efforts being made by the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India a developed nation by 2047.
He called upon the youth to play an active role in realising the resolve of a developed India. He said, “Youth power is the future of the country. We have to channelise our energy and innovation in the development of the country.”
He said that in terms of providing social security to the maximum number of people, India has achieved tremendous success in a decade and has achieved the second position in the world. At present, 94 crore people have come under the ambit of social security, that is, 64.3 percent of the country’s total population is definitely taking advantage of at least one social security scheme. India’s social security coverage was only 19 percent in 2015, which has increased to 64.3 percent in 2025. That is, there has been a historic jump of 45 percentage points in it. All this has been possible due to the welfare schemes being run for the poor and the working class under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Referring to various schemes of the Central Government, such as Startup India, Skill India, and Digital India, he said that these initiatives are making a significant contribution in empowering the youth and building a self-reliant India. Tilak Raj praised the activism of the workers of Sanjauli Mandal and said that such events at the local level increase public awareness and strengthen development work. During this program, the workers also took the resolution of Developed India 2047, for which a certificate was also given.
On this occasion, BJP Sanjauli Mandal President Sanjeev Chauhan, candidate Sanjay Sood, Kisan Morcha President Sanjeev Drishta, media in-charge Karan Nanda, Minority Morcha President Bilal Ahmed, Shimla Mandal President Rajiv Pandit, Aneesh Chopra, Ram Krishna Dipta and other officials were present.
