A horrific road accident took place last night in Kamalau area under Rampur police station under subdivision Rampur of Shimla district. A Bolero camper vehicle went out of control and fell into a deep ditch from the road. One person died in this accident, while the other is still missing.
According to the information received from the police, the deceased has been identified as Dev Kumar alias Anku Chauhan son of Mohan Lal resident of Kamalau, Tehsil Rampur Bushahr and District Shimla. Former Pradhan of Bhadawali Panchayat Krishna Gopal Bhardwaj informed the police about the accident. As soon as the information was received, Rampur police team reached the spot and took the body in possession and took it to the hospital for postmortem.
The name of the second person missing in the accident is being told as Hardayal, a resident of village Masarna, who is being searched. According to the information, the Bolero camper vehicle was returning after selling apples in Lapughati. During this, this accident occurred on the way. DSP Rampur Naresh Sharma confirmed the case and said that the body of Dev Kumar, who died in the accident, has been handed over to the family after post-mortem and after registering the case, the causes of the accident are being thoroughly investigated.
