Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited CMD Robert J Ravi unveiled the IFTV service on Saturday in collaboration with M/s SkyPro for FTTH customers of BSNL at Himachal Pradesh Telecom Circle. BSNL’s Internet Fiber-Based Live TV (IFTV) service is also colloquially called IPTV service. Director CFA BSNL Vivek Banjal, Director CM Sandeep Govil, Chief General Manager Telecom State Circle Vivek Jaiswal and other officials were present in this program. IFTV service is an important milestone in enhancing the customer experience by providing state-of-the-art digital entertainment by leveraging BSNL’s fiber network.
BSNL’s Yash service is designed to redefine the way customers connect with television and OTT content. This service will be available to all BSNL FTTH customers without any additional charges. Chief General Manager Telecom Himachal Circle Vivek Jaiswal gave information about the features of the IFTV service and its membership details. He said that it is available to customers using the FTTH (Fiber to the Home) connection of BSNL. He stressed that this service is a unique initiative aimed at providing an exceptional experience to BSNL customers. IFTV is a fiber-based intranet TV service at no extra charge.
