The cabinet meeting is to be held today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. The state government can approve new recruitment in three major departments. These recruitments will be done on about 1500 posts. According to the preparations made by the departments in the form of an agenda, new recruitment is going to open in the Health Department, Education Department, and Energy Department. The matter of filling about 600 posts in the Health Department is going to the cabinet.
In this, 200 posts are for doctors and 400 posts are for staff nurses. 30 posts are also being filled in super specialty. However, the matter of recruiting Rogi Mitra in Health is not coming up right now, because there is still discussion going on between the Health Department and the Finance Department. The second recruitment is being done in the Education Department.
Approval was received from the Finance Department to fill 400 posts of Assistant Professor in colleges under the Higher Education Department. Now approval for appointment is being taken from the Cabinet. These posts will be filled through the Public Service Commission. Their allocation will be different subject-wise. The third big issue is the Electricity Board, which is going through the Energy Department. Now Bijli Mitras are being recruited in the state. The Electricity Board is facing the crisis of field employees, which will be overcome by this recruitment. The Energy Department is going to bring the Bijli Mitra Policy. It will also decide how many posts will be filled. Before this, the Van Mitra and Pashu Mitra policies had already come.
The announcement of CBSE schools will also be discussed
The biggest issue of the Education Department in the cabinet is regarding CBSE schools. The state government wants to convert 100 schools affiliated with the School Education Board to the CBSE Board. The CM has announced to make 200 schools CBSE. At the same time, the cabinet can also take a decision regarding the new regulation of the State Selection Commission. Earlier, the regulation of the Staff Selection Commission was going on in the commission. After the paper leak case came to light, the state government dissolved the Staff Selection Commission Hamirpur and created a new commission in the form of the State Selection Commission, but according to this, the regulation was not there yet.
