Shimla, October 19: A farmer died and two labourers were injured in a road accident in Rohru subdivision. The accident happened when the car fell into a ditch. There were three people in the car including the gardener. The gardener was driving the car. The car rolled into the ditch near Dayothi scissors on Friday late evening. The deceased has been identified as Bhumi Dev (54) resident of Bhamanauli Rohru. He was a gardener. The injured include Dhan Bahadur and Leela Ram of Nepali origin and are undergoing treatment at Civil Hospital Rohru.
According to information received from the police, Bhumi Dev has an apple orchard in Anuvsa of Rohru. After working in the orchard, he brought two labourers along with him. After finishing the work, Bhumi Dev was returning home in the evening with the labourers in his car HP-10-2351. Meanwhile, the car went out of control and fell into a ditch. All three people in the car were injured in the accident. The police took them to the hospital, where Bhumi Dev died. Prima facie, the negligence of the driver is being considered the reason for the accident.
The post 32.0mortem of the dead body is being done. The condition of both the injured is out of danger. A case has been registered regarding this road accident.
