A tragic road accident took place in Dhali police station area of Shimla, in which one person died, while 3 people were seriously injured. Police have registered a case of accident on the statement of Gaurav Verma resident Ghawas. Gaurav Verma told the police that he and his tenant Kamesh heard the sound of something heavy falling near the house. On hearing the sound, both of them immediately reached the spot, where they found two persons lying in the drain, who were badly injured.
Gaurav and Kamesh went ahead and investigated the spot and found that a vehicle (HP 07F-1000) had overturned in the drain. Both of them immediately reached near the vehicle and somehow pulled out another injured person. When Kamesh looked under the vehicle, he found that another person was trapped there who was seriously injured and unconscious.
With the help of the local people who reached the spot, Gaurav and Kamesh pulled out the injured persons from the drain and sent them to the hospital, but one of them died on the way. Other injured persons have been admitted to the hospital, where their condition is said to be critical. On the other hand, the police have registered the case and started investigating the cause of the accident.
