In the Balichauki subdivision of Mandi district, the accidents are not decreasing due to rain and landslides. An Alto car fell down from the road into a ditch near Debar Nala of Dhavehad on Balichauki-Sudharani road, due to which the car was shattered into pieces. The special thing about this accident was that if the people in the car had not jumped, there could have been loss of life.
Eyewitness social worker Dev Raj said that on Tuesday, a landslide suddenly occurred from a part of the hill near Debar Nala, due to which the car fell down from the road into the ditch. As soon as the drivers, Chaman Lal and Tilak jumped from the car after getting the hint of the landslide, due to which they suffered partial injuries. As soon as the information of the accident was received, the local people also reached the spot and both the injured were brought to CHC Balichauki, where they were discharged after treatment.
