Two people died and two others were seriously injured when a car fell into a deep gorge on Chamba-Pathankot NH. There were a total of four people in the car. After first aid, the injured have been referred to Medical College Chamba.
On Friday, the police handed over the bodies of the people killed in the accident to their families after conducting post-mortem at Civil Hospital Dalhousie. The police have registered a case and started investigating the detailed causes of the accident. The deceased include Mohindra Kumar resident of village Tretha and Ashok Kumar resident of village Lahad. The injured have been identified as Anit Kumar resident of village Parihar and Devraj resident of village Jiunta. On the other hand, SP Chamba Abhishek Yadav has confirmed the incident.
