A car fell into deep ditch in Gyabugh Bodang Nala near Pooh Vikas Khand of Kinnaur district on Wednesday morning. In an tragic incident, one person died while other got serious injuries.
According to information, Alto K10 car went out of control and fell into a deep ditch. There were two people in the car: driver Vijay Kumar (33), who hails from Bajwa village in Rampur tehsil of Shimla district, and Sachin Bisht (27), who hails from Chewri village in Nankhari tehsil of Shimla.
On receiving the news, the locals and administration immediately rushed to the spot. They jointly carried out a rescue operation and pulled out both the injured from the ditch and provided first aid. After this, they were immediately rushed to CHC Pooh.
Unfortunately, during treatment, doctors declared Sachin Bisht dead, which sent shockwaves in his family and the area. At the same time, Vijay Kumar’s condition remains very critical and his treatment is still going on. Doctors are trying their best to save his life.
The police have registered an FIR and an in-depth investigation is being conducted to find out the cause of the accident. In the initial investigation, it seems that the accident occurred due to the vehicle going out of control.
