Earlier, the field officers used to make the salary of the employees in the division. But now the work will be done in the headquarters.
For this, the board management has launched a centralized system. This facility will now be operated at one place at the board level, at the headquarters finance division level. This facility was officially inaugurated by the Chairman of the Board Limited, Sanjay Gupta, by cutting a cake at the Board Headquarters Vidyut Bhawan Shimla on Tuesday. Sanjay Gupta has said that this facility is a time-bound and transparent facility for the employees, officers, and other types of payments of the electricity board.
He said on this occasion that the introduction of this facility in a competitive commercial institution like Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited will not only increase efficiency, but also the officers and employees will get more time at the field level, which will provide more time for revenue collection and repair work related to power supply. On this occasion, Board’s Director of Personnel and Finance Anurag Chandra Sharma, Director of Operations E. Manoj Upreti and other officers were present.
The decision was taken in the Board of Directors meeting.
With the introduction of this facility, 121 Drawing and Disbursing Officers working in the field of the Electricity Board will also get relief from these tasks. The decision to start this facility was taken in the Board of Directors meeting held on 30 January. In this way, the problems faced by the Board’s employees, officers, pensioners, and other payees in any kind of payment will be completely eliminated.
