After conducting the aerial survey of the Chandertal and Losar in tribal district Lahaul-Spiti the Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu reached Mandi to take stock of the situation of loss caused due to flash flood and rains and met those affected due to this tragedy. The Chief Minister visited relief camps at Beas Sadan at Bhuli and Gurudawara Sahib at Paddal and inquired into the well being of the inmates affected due to nature’s fury.
He announced 25000 rupees each to those taking shelter in the relief camps. The Chief Minister also announced to provide rupees one lakh each to those who suffered huge losses of property at Pandoh.
The Chief Minister could not take off towards Thunag due to dense fog and bad weather. However, he has assured to provide all possible assistance to the affected people of the area.
MLA and former Minister Anil Sharma, Chairman of APMC Mandi Sanjeev Guleria, Congress Leader Pawan Thakur, Jeevan Thakur, Naresh Chauhan, Lal Singh Kaushal, Divisional Commissioner Rakhil Kahlon, SP Somya Sambshivan, ADC Nivedita Negi and other senior officers accompanied the Chief Minister.
