Pledge to maintain a clean environment by cleaning the office premises
Bhoranj 29 August. A special cleanliness drive was organized in the mini secretariat office premises here today under the chairmanship of SDM Shashipal Sharma. On this occasion, officers and employees of various departments were present in large numbers and together they cleaned the premises of the secretariat and the surrounding areas.
SDM himself started the cleanliness drive by sweeping. He said that a clean environment increases work efficiency and citizens also get better services. He also said that it is everyone’s collective responsibility to ensure that every citizen visiting the office gets a clean environment.
He said that the building of the mini secretariat is quite large and due to less movement of people in many corners of such big buildings, garbage often accumulates and water also accumulates during the rainy season. Many times grass also grows, which worsens the condition of the building. To stop this, a cleanliness drive was launched in the mini secretariat complex and it has been decided to run such a drive after every three months in the future.
During the campaign organized on Friday, along with cleaning the office premises, the message of garbage disposal, cleaning of drainage places and preserving greenery was also given. The employees took a pledge that they will regularly keep the office clean and organized and will also make the general public aware of cleanliness.
