Clouds burst at three places in Shimla and Kullu

The incidents of cloudburst are not stopping amidst the ongoing rain in the state. Cloudburst occurred at 3 places in Shimla and Kullu district on Wednesday evening at around 5.15 pm. Rivers and streams have overflowed due to cloudburst incidents in Shrikhand of Kullu, Nanti village of Facha in Shimla district and Kashapath. However, there is no report of any casualty in this. There was a severe flood in Nogli and Ganvi Khad. There is a danger to the bridge due to the increase in water in Ganvi. Due to cloudburst in Shrikhand, there was a severe flood in Kurpan Khad and Ganvi Khad. Seeing the fierce form of Kurpan Khad, Bagipul market has been evacuated. 3 vehicles were washed away due to heavy rain in Tirthan Valley of Kullu, while a bridge has broken. 22 affected families kept at safe place
On the other hand, heavy rains caused floods in the Mayad valley of tribal district Lahaul-Spiti on Wednesday afternoon, due to which a bridge was washed away in Udaipur. The sudden flood caused chaos in Udgos and Karpat villages, while earlier on Tuesday evening also, flood water entered Karpat, Changut, Urgos, Tingret and Shakoli villages, causing panic among the people. After the flood, Karpat village in Lahaul has been evacuated. All 22 affected families have been kept at a safe place by the administration, and they spent the night in tents. Debris entered 5 houses due to the flood, while some houses also developed minor cracks.
