The Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (HPSCB) won the National award for the year 2022-23 for its excellent performance nationwide in Self Help Group Bank Linkage under the Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojna-National Rural Livelihood Mission. The trophy along with a citation was presented to the Bank by the Ministry of Rural Development at New Delhi recently.
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu congratulated the HPSCB for winning the award during a meeting with Chairman of the HPSCB Devender Shyam, who handed over the Trophy and citation to the Chief Minister.
Sh. Sukhu lauded the efforts of all the employees of the Bank and said that this achievement was not just a proud moment for the bank but also for the people of the state. He added that the State Cooperative Bank was conferred with the topmost award for excellent work in rural areas.
He further stated that the HPSCB has established unique identity for its work culture in the co-operative sector and as a result has won many national level awards recently.
Shrawan Manta MD of the bank was also present on the occasion.
