• Inaugurates and lays foundation stones of development projects worth Rs. 170.30 crore in Chintpurni Vidha Sabha area
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated and laid foundation stones of developmental projects worth about Rs. 170.30 crore in Chintpurni Vidhan Sabha area of Una district through video conferencing from Shimla.
Jai Ram Thakur dedicated 220 KV Electric Sub Centre Nehrian constructed at a cost of Rs. 63 crore, 33 KV Sub Station Chakk Saray built at a cost of Rs. 5 crore, Rs. 3.80 crore Lift Water Supply Scheme for habitations of Gram Panchayats of Polian Prohitan, Rapoh Missran, Akrot and Behar Jaswan, Rs. 1.50 crore Lift Water Supply Scheme to village Saloi and Pramb, Bharobar Behli in Tehsil Amb, Rs. 80 lakh Lift Irrigation Scheme Haryali village Bhaira tehsil Amb, Rs. 30 lakh Rest House Jwar, Rs. 57 lakh building of Government Veterinary Hospital, Chururu, Rs. 9.51 crore earthen embankment including crated apron, stone pitching etc. on both side of Bhaira (Panjoda) khad (Part-B) on Right Bank of Dhusara khad) and Rs. 2.24 crore building of Community Health Centre, Dhusara.
Chief Minister laid foundation stones of Rs. 8.41 crore ITI building Chintpurni at Nehrian, Rs. 14.53 crore piped water supply under Jal Jeevan Mission to left out households in Amb Block of Chintpurni Constituency, Rs. 9 crore Chowar to Jawar road via Radoh Kanyari Rajpura Nara under NABARD, Rs.11 crore Karluhi to Amb Tilla road under PMGSY, Rs. 4.35 crore Commerce Block at Government College Amb, Rs. 1.01 crore quarters at Adarsh Nagar for the staff of Police Station Amb, Rs. 11.56 crore upgradation of Nehri Mairi Jawar road under PMGSY, Rs. 3.02 crore Amban Da Padhar to Bringal road under PMGSY, Rs. 1.10 crore helipad at Chintpurni, Rs. 2.60 crore improvement of lift water supply scheme Kinoo, Aloh Suhin, Sidh Chalet and Badouli Tiuri in tehsil Amb, Rs. 60 lakh building of Government veterinary Hospital Chowkiminar, Rs. 50 lakh building of Government Veterinary Hospital Jawehar, Rs. 50 building of Government Veterinary Hospital Kalu-Di-Barh and Rs. 15.33 crore Gabion walls on both sides of Ambwali khad.
Jai Ram Thakur said that the 220 KV Electric Sub Station Nehrian would solve the electricity problem of about 5 lakh people of the area. He said that in total he had today dedicated nine developmental projects worth Rs 86.72 crore in Chintpurni Vidhan Sabha area and of 33 KV Sub Station at Chakk Sarai which would facilitate about 29000 population of nine Panchayats of the area. In addition to this, he has also laid foundation stone of 14 developmental projects worth Rs 83.47 crore, he added.
Chief Minister said that the people of Vidhan Sabha had contributed Rs. 16 lakh towards the CM Covid Fund and also prepared and distributed about 28000 face masks. He said that the State Government has notified Amb as Nagar Panchayat keeping in view the demand of the people of the area.
He said that the State Government was also considerate towards developmental aspirations of the people of the area. He said that Rs 14.53 crore drinking water Scheme being executed under Jal Jeevan Mission would go a long way in solving water problem of Amb development block. In addition to this ITI building would also be constructed at Nehrian by spending an amount of Rs 8.40 crore, he said.
Jai Ram Thakur said that all the developmental projects, foundation stones of which were laid by him today would be completed within the stipulated time period. He said that all these projects would go a long way in making Chintpurni Vidhan Sabha area an ideal constituency of the State.
Chief Minister said that the present tenure of the State Government has been full of unprecedented and unparalleled development in all parts of the State.
He said that Jan Manch and Chief Minister Helpline-1100 had ensured speedy redressal of public grievances. He said that over 2.78 lakh free gas connections have been provided to the eligible families of Himachal Pradesh under the Grihini Suvidha Yojna and the State has become first smoke free State of the country. He said that in addition to this, 1.36 lakh families have been covered under centrally sponsored Ujjawala Yojna.
Jai Ram Thakur said that under Him Care Scheme till date over one lakh people have been benefitted and they have been provided financial assistance of worth Rs. 91.43 crore for treatment.
Chief Minister said that about 2.50 lakh people of the State stranded in different parts of the country were brought back by the State Government. He said that although this resulted in steep increase in the number of COVID-19 patients but the people need not to worry as the State Government was fully aware of the situation and fully prepared to tackle the crisis. He urged the people of the State to adopt full precautions to check spread of this virus.
Local MLA Balbir Chaudhary while welcoming the Chief Minister thanked him for dedicating developmental projects worth crores of rupees in his area. He said that work on road process worth Rs. 175 crore were being implemented in his constituency, which was due to benevolence of the Chief Minister.
