Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu unveiled and laid the foundation of 9 development projects worth Rs. 75 crore in Bhatiyat Assembly Constituency (AC) in Chamba district today.
He inaugurated Rs. 2.20 crore lift water supply schemes to Sarna, Saloh Chulari and adjoining areas in tehsil Bhatiyat and Rs. 1.17 crore water supply scheme to Upper Badingi and Lower Badingi in tehsil Bhatiyat.
He laid the foundation stones of a Rs. 15.53 crore gravity water supply scheme to Samot and other villages piped water scheme for part of Block Bhatiyat, Rs. 12.59 crore remodelling and augmentation of flow irrigation scheme Rajain-Saroga Kuhl in tehsil Bhatiyat, Rs. 4.32 crore flood protection work to village Jatroon-Trimath and Saloh in tehsil Bhatiyat, Rs. 1.79 crore flood protection work to village Molta in Gram Panchayat Molta in Sihunta, Rs. 25.90 crore improvement and augmentation of water supply scheme to Chowari town, Rs. 3.86 crore landslides mitigation measures for preventing of landslide disaster over Kali-Ghar on Sihunta-Chowari-Jot road and Rs. 6.43 crore up-gradation of Sihunta-Jolna Khas road.
