Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu launched the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), an end-to-end online system of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department here today.
The initiative will exemplify the state government’s commitment to leveraging technology for efficient governance and administration. He said that this step would streamline the process of managing Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) of all employees of these two departments, directly benefitting about 5,500 staff members. This user-friendly platform would simplify and expedite HR processes, leading to improved transparency and efficiency in the system, he added.
The State Government was planning to enhance the HRMS in the near future with additional modules, including features for managing Transfers, Postings, and Service Books for Zila Parishad employees. This will further augment the capabilities of our human resource processes, he added.
The Chief Minister stressed on the need to incorporate artificial intelligence in the functioning of the department keeping in view the futuristic approach to provide better services to the people. He directed to make all the works online undertaken by the department in order to maintain transparency in the system. He said that State Government was committed to provide corruption free governance and integration of technology will pave the way to achieve the desired goal.
Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sanjay Awasthy, MLA Rajesh Dharmani, Principal Advisor to Chief Minister (IT and Innovation) Gokul Butail, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Bharat Khera, Secretary Digital Technology and Governance Abhishek Jain, Secretary Health M. Sudha Devi, Secretary MPP and Power Rajiv Sharma, Secretary Jal Shakti Vibhag Amitabh Awasthy, Secretary Rural Development Priyatu Mandal, Director Information and Public Relations Kiran Bhadana and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
