Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu met with Himachali people living in London. The Himachali people welcomed the Chief Minister and served him Himachali cuisine.
Purna Bhardwaj, a Shimla resident, also presented him with his book, “The Himalayan Bond.” On this occasion, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the people of Himachal Pradesh are known worldwide for their Himachali caps, mountain cuisine, and hospitality. He expressed his gratitude to the people living in different parts of the world for promoting and propagating the culture of the country and the state.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has traveled abroad to enroll his daughter in the London School of Economics. After passing the LLM exam, he secured admission there after a rigorous admission process. For this reason, the Chief Minister, accompanied by his wife and MLA Kamlesh Thakur, is scheduled to return to Delhi from London on September 27th. Following this, he is scheduled to attend a wedding ceremony in his home district of Nadaun on September 28th. After Nadaun, he will attend a programme organised at Dr. Manmohan Singh Himachal Institute of Public Administration at Fair Lawn, Mashobra near Shimla on September 29.
