A period of dry weather continues in Himachal Pradesh. The cold wave is also increasing, especially in the mornings, evenings, and nights.
On Thursday, the state’s average minimum temperature was recorded 0.1 degrees below normal. The drop in minimum temperatures in many cities, including Shimla, has led to colder nights.
The Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather for a week, until November 26th. This means there is no possibility of rain or snowfall anywhere until then. The month of November remains dry in the state, with rainfall 90 per cent below normal this month.
According to the Meteorological Department’s report, three towns in the Lahaul-Spiti district recorded temperatures last night. Keylong recorded -1.1 degrees Celsius, Kukumseri -3 degrees Celsius, and Tabo -2.6 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature in Shimla was 8.6 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Shimla dropped by 0.4 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours. Apart from this, the mercury also dropped in cities like Sundernagar, Bhuntar, Kalpa, Dharamshala, Una and Nahan.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 4.7 degrees in Sundernagar, 4.6 degrees in Bhuntar, 1.8 degrees in Kalpa, 7.5 degrees in Dharamshala, 8.4 degrees in Una, 9.1 degrees in Nahan, 5.5 degrees in Palampur, 6.2 degrees in Solan, 4.1 degrees in Manali, 7.4 degrees in Kangra, 8.3 degrees in Mandi, 10.5 degrees in Bilaspur, 9.1 degrees in Hamirpur, 9 degrees in Jubbarhatti, 8.8 degrees in Kufri, 6.1 degrees in Narkanda, 9.1 degrees in Barthin, 9 degrees in Bharmour, 4 degrees in Reckong Peo and 3 degrees Celsius in Seobagh. It was sunny across the state on Thursday. There was fog in Bilaspur and Sundernagar during the morning.
