Dr. Bindal said that in this context, the Congress government has decided to close the Prakriti Kheti Khushal Kisan Yojana, which is a decision taken entirely on the basis of political rivalry.
With the aim of making Himachal Pradesh a big center of natural farming, Prakrit Kheti Khushhal Kisan Yojana was started to promote natural farming and thousands of farmers took training from it across the state and started doing natural farming, which gave good results in Himachal. While Jairam Thakur government started this scheme to enrich the farmers, His Excellency Governor Acharya Devvrat ji had a big contribution and moreover, being impressed by the work of Himachal Pradesh, Acharya Devvrat ji addressed the honorable members of Parliament at the national level. Compost made using this technology is being used successfully in different parts of many countries. In such a situation, it is extremely unfortunate for the Congress government to discontinue this ambitious scheme and the Bharatiya Janata Party strongly condemns this decision.
Dr. Bindal said that the fertilizer prepared from cow dung, cow urine and jaggery will always remain beneficial and the crops prepared in this way will contribute in keeping the human body healthy.
