A delegation of Congress Youth Samvaad met Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu here today and detailed him about the first Youth Samvaad programme which was started from Bilaspur district on December 17, 2023 in which all the organizations associated with the Congress belief participated.
Appreciating the efforts, the Chief Minister said that there was a plan to organize Youth Samvaad program in every district wherein people will be made aware about the achievements and policies of the present state government. He urged all the workers to disseminate the public welfare policies of the government as much as possible so that no eligible person was deprived of the benefits of these schemes.
Sh. Sukhu said that during the last one year’s tenure, the government has started many public welfare schemes. Counting the achievements, the Chief Minister said that OPS was restored to benefit the employees, Mukhyamantri Sukhashraya Yojana was launched for orphan children and Rs 680 crore Rajiv Gandhi Self-Employment Startup Scheme worth was started to provide self-employment opportunities to the youth. Apart from this, 21000 jobs have also been created in the government sector and efforts were afoot to strengthen the rural economy.
On this occasion, Principal Advisor (Media) Naresh Chauhan, OSD Ritesh Kaprate, Mast Ram of Congress Yuva Samvaad, Ravi Rattan Sharma and many other officials were present.
