Counselling: 193 BTech seats allotted on the basis of JEE Main

First phase counselling of BTech on the basis of HPCET starts today
Hamirpur. Himachal Pradesh Technical University Hamirpur on Tuesday conducted counselling of BTech (Direct Entry) general category and Beti Hai Anmol and All India quota candidates on the basis of JEE Main. On the third day of the first phase counselling, 193 candidates were allotted seats on the basis of merit. At the same time, counselling of MTech was also conducted, in which 16 candidates were allotted seats. Counselling Committee Chairman Prof Rajiv Khanduja said that the candidates who have been allotted seats will have to report to the concerned educational institution by July 31. At the same time, the first phase counselling of BTech (Direct Entry) on the basis of Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) will start from July 30. On the first day, counselling of OBC and SC main category and sub-category candidates will be done. On July 31, counseling will be held for candidates applying under ST main category, EWS, Kashmiri migrant. On August 1, counseling will be held for candidates applying under general category and All India quota.
