A counselling session for the students, who are interested in taking the civil service examinations was organised at Shoolini University yesterday.
Mr. Vivek Atrey, former IAS officer and motivational speaker, along with Ms. Debina Vardhan, Assistant Commissioner, Income Tax, Chandigarh, were the speakers for the session.
Mr. Atray spoke about the drive and commitment needed to take civil service tests. He emphasised that anyone planning on taking the exam next year should start studying immediately.Ms. Vardhan provided an overview of what to expect from the exam.
Mr. Jagpreet Singh, senior professor at Vivek Carrier Academy, recounted his experience preparing for civil service exams.
Students from the Liberal Arts, Law, and Commerce departments attended the session. Vivek Careers Academy and Shoolini University had previously signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to give subsidised coaching to Shoolini University students.
