Ambesh Upmanyu, Chief Postmaster General, Himachal Pradesh along with other officers of his department called on Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan, today. He presented commemorative postage stamps on Ayodhya’s Shree Ram Mandir to the Governor.
Sh Upmanyu apprised the Governor about increasing demand for postage stamps displaying Shree Ram Mandir at Ayodhya which would be available in all the post offices of the State.
Apart from this the department will launch a campaign from 20th February to 28th March, 2024 in the State, wherein, the department will distribute a souvenir and the Prime Minister’s message related to Shree Ram Mandir. He detailed that the department also assisted in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at 1093 locations throughout the State.
The Governor appreciated the efforts of the Postal Department and hoped that the services being provided by the department will certainly reach the masses in an effective manner.
