District Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap has given instructions to register an FIR against the private coaching institute of Sanjauli. In fact, on 3 and 4 September 2025, instructions were issued by the District Magistrate to keep all educational institutions and coaching institutes closed in Shimla district under Disaster Management 2005. But it is alleged that in defiance of the orders of the DC, classes of students were going on at Aakash Coaching Institute in Sanjauli. Instructions have been given to register an FIR for disobeying the orders of the district administration. The Deputy Commissioner has given instructions to the Superintendent of Police to register an FIR. Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap said, “We had received information about classes being run at Aakash Coaching Center. After this, a team was sent to the spot under the leadership of ADM, and the classes were going on. Which is a violation of Section 51, 52 and 53 of the Disaster Management Act 2005. Accordingly, instructions have been given to the Superintendent of Police to register an FIR. If the instructions issued under the Disaster Management Act 2005 are found to be violated anywhere in the district, then the district administration will take strict action. He has appealed to the general public to immediately inform the administration about the violation of rules”.
Let us tell you that the district administration had received information from social media that on September 3 and 4, Aakash Coaching Center is taking classes of children against the rules of the district administration. After this, Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap sent ADM Pankaj Sharma and Tehsildar Apoorv Sharma to inspect the spot. When the team reached at 10:10 am on Saturday, classes were going on at Aakash Coaching Center. When the team inspected, messages were sent to the children’s mobiles about classes being held by the institute.
When the team asked Rajesh Kumar, the institute’s operation head present on the spot, he said that classes have been held for those who live in the institute’s campus and hostel, but when the students were asked, there were many students who did not live inside the campus and hostel. After this, the administration team submitted a detailed interim report to Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap regarding the operation of the institute.
