Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap today reviewed the rehabilitation works being provided to the people affected by last year’s disaster in the Samej area of Sarpara Panchayat of Rampur sub-division through video conferencing.

The Deputy Commissioner held video conferencing with the SDM, Block Development Officer, Patwari and Village Development Officer and public representatives of the concerned area.
It was decided in the meeting that the work of providing assistance to the affected people under the Special Relief Package 2024 should be intensified. Detailed discussions were held about the work related to the rehabilitation of all the affected people. A report was also taken about the current status of issuing death certificates to those who died during the disaster.
The Deputy Commissioner said that any kind of delay in the financial assistance released under the special relief package will not be accepted. The field staff and officers should ensure that the prescribed assistance is provided to the affected after completing all the formalities. In case of any kind of delay in rehabilitation work, strict action will be taken against the concerned employee. He said that the field staff should inform the top officials about the work along with proper and correct reporting.
He said that on July 31, video conferencing will be done with the Patwari, Village Development Officer and other public representatives of Taklech area.
During this, Additional Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Verma, ADM Protocol Jyoti Rana, ADM (Law and Order) Pankaj Sharma, District Revenue Officer Sanjeet Sharma and other officers were also present.
