Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri today attended the Shri Krishna Janmotsav program organized at Shri Radha Krishna Temple in Ganj Bazaar, Shimla. The Deputy Chief Minister bowed his head at the feet of Lord Shri and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state.
On this occasion, bhajan-kirtan and puja-archana were organised in the temple premises, in which the Deputy Chief Minister also participated.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that Shri Krishna Janmotsav is not only a festival of religious faith, but it also gives the message of religion, duty and devotion in life. He extended his heartfelt greetings of Janmashtami to the people of the state and called for maintaining brotherhood, unity and harmony in the society.
On this occasion, Shimla Urban MLA Harish Janartha, Mayor Municipal Corporation Shimla Surendra Chauhan and other dignitaries along with a large number of devotees were present. A wonderful confluence of enthusiasm and devotion was seen in this entire program.
