The state government has sanctioned 6 crore 35 lakhs for landslide prevention in Junas Ghar and Buin villages.

For effective prevention of landslides from Junas Ghar and link road to Buin village under Churah, the state government has approved an action plan worth Rs.6.35 crore under SDMF under disaster mitigation works.
He said that Rs. 3 crore 19 lakh would be spent on disaster mitigation works at Junas Ghar for landslide prevention works while Rs.

Visited various areas under Churah and inspected the arrangements and also provided necessary guidelines to the concerned officers.
During this, while presiding over the meeting organized in the auditorium of Development Block Office Tisa with the officers and panchayat secretaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, he gave instructions to complete the houses approved during the year 2020-21 by 31st August.
Along with this, he also gave instructions that before providing the final grant amount to the beneficiaries, it was ensured that all the prescribed departmental criteria were fulfilled.

During this, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with police officers and jawans of Himachal Pradesh Police Battalion at Police Post Bairagarh and Camp Battalion Headquarters Teesa.
Appreciating the policemen, he also got detailed information about the working of the battalion and various facilities available.
First, the Deputy Commissioner made a surprise inspection of Government Middle School Satyas and took stock of the various arrangements.
During this, he also checked the quality of various facilities available in the school and the food provided in the mid-day meal.
SDM Joginder Patial, Block Development Officer Nishi Mahajan, officials of various departments including Public Works, Jal Shakti, Department Electricity Board were also present during this period.
