A meeting was held today in the video conference room of the National Informatics Centre (NIC) under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal to review the progress in the district’s benchmarks related to health, education, agriculture, child development, infrastructure, financial inclusion, and skill development under the Aspirational Districts Programme.
The Deputy Commissioner, in a detailed review of indicators related to various departments under the programme, emphasized the need for a progressive information approach to the respective office heads.
Mukesh Repaswal commended the Health Department for its excellent work on indicators related to health checkups of pregnant women.
He directed officials of the Agriculture and Horticulture Departments to provide a list of farmers and orchardists who have privately installed micro-irrigation systems. He also asked department officials to submit details of the targets set and achievements achieved during the last six months.
In the meeting, the departmental officer informed that Soil Health Cards have been distributed to 64605 farmers in the district.
During this, the Deputy Commissioner virtually reviewed the works under the development blocks Teesa and Pangi.
He directed the Block Development Officer, Pangi that due to internet connectivity problem, the work of uploading the necessary online data should be done from the district headquarters Chamba.
He also provided necessary guidelines after conducting a detailed review of the work done by the departments on various indicators related to Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, education, child development and infrastructure etc.
In the meeting, the departmental officers were informed point-wise about the progress made.
