Instructions given to the officials of Revenue and Agriculture Department to assess immediately
Deputy Commissioner Lahaul Spity Kiran Bhadana today visited the village Piyar in the valley along with a team of officials of the Department of Agriculture and Revenue. During this time, the team conducted a physical inspection of the heavy damage to the crops and vegetables of the farmers of the village due to recent rain and disaster and interacted with the affected families. The Deputy Commissioner assured the local farmers and villagers that all necessary steps would be taken by the district administration and compensation will be provided by assessing the lossDuring this time, the members of Mahila Mandal submitted a memorandum regarding the reconstruction and assistance of their building, on which the Deputy Commissioner assured all possible help. After the tour, the Deputy Commissioner reached the local Payukar Gompa and met the lamagan and chomos and thanked them for their hospitality. He saw God in Gompa and received blessings and wished for peace and prosperity of the region. ,On this occasion, the Lama of Gompa demanded the Deputy Commissioner for necessary construction and renovation in Gompa, the Deputy Commissioner said that the renovation work of the Gompas of the valley is proposed under the Buddhist Development Plan and instructions will be given to the officials concerned to work on it. The villagers informed about the poor condition of the road and demanded quick repair and thanked the administration for relief efforts. The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned departmental officers to complete the relief and necessary repair work on priority soon.
