In connection with the suspicious death of a female student in Dharamshala and the related allegations of ragging and sexual harassment, the interim bail of two accused students has been extended until January 17. According to information, out of the four accused students, two had obtained interim bail from the court, which was scheduled to expire on Wednesday. The court took a decision regarding the extension of their interim bail on Wednesday.
On the same day, the police did not question the accused students, professors, classmates of the deceased student, or any other individuals related to the case.
According to police sources, the remaining reports from the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory (RFSL) are expected to reach the police soon. Additionally, the report of the medical board constituted to investigate the case is likely to be submitted to the police by Monday.
Meanwhile, DIG North Range Saumya Sambashivan stated that the police are conducting a thorough investigation into all aspects of the case.
