Hamirpur 26 September. A meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Pawan Kumar Sharma regarding the organization of District Level Youth Festival-2023.
On this occasion, the Assistant Commissioner said that on October 1, District Level Youth Festival-2023 will be organized at Gautam College, Hamirpur in which participants in the age group of 15 to 29 years of the district can participate.
He informed that developmental exhibitions and stalls will also be set up by various departments in the Youth Mahotsav. He told that five competitions will be organized during the festival. These will include group dance and singing, speech, painting, mobile photography and poetry writing and reading competitions. He said that the first three winners of the speech competition will be given prize money of Rs 5000, Rs 2000 and Rs 1000, citation and memento respectively. The first three winners of the group dance competition will be awarded prize money of Rs 5000, 2500 and Rs 1000, citation and memento respectively. The first three winners in poetry writing will receive prize money of Rs 1000, 750 and Rs 500, citation and memento respectively. On this occasion, District Youth Officer of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Deepmala Thakur said that the winners at the district level will be provided an opportunity to participate in the State Level Youth Mahotsav-2023 and the state level winners will be given the opportunity to participate in the National Level Youth Mahotsav.
