Various representatives of 20 countries have reached Dharamshala for the G-20 summit on Tuesday. The meeting is going to start from Wednesday. Regarding the meeting, the responsibility of security has been entrusted on the shoulders of 500 police personnel, who have been deployed at every nook and corner of Dharamshala city. The venue and the living area of the guests have been heavily guarded. Apart from this, a separate team has been formed to gather information, so that any anti-social or other incidents can be avoided. SP Kangra Shalini Agrihotri said that in view of the G-20 meeting, flying of drones has been prohibited in Dharamshala. Along with this, orders have been issued to stop paragliding on Wednesday.
He told that due to the G-20 meeting, police has deployed personnel from the airport to the Radisson Blu Hotel, the venue of the event, under the plan. 500 jawans have been deployed in this. Out of these, around 350 additional jawans have been called from other areas. Traffic has not been diverted anywhere in the traffic system. Nor has any traffic zone or one-way arrangement been made.
SP Shalini Agrihotri told that cases of haphazard parking are continuously coming to the fore in the main places and chowks of the city. In the coming times, strict action will be taken if people try to improve the traffic system and do haphazard parking like this.
