Shimla, September 22, 2025.
Rajiv Rana, Himachal Pradesh State Chairman and Secretary of the State Congress Committee, graced the grand HIM Cine & Achievers Award 2025 (HCAA) event held at the historic Gaiety Theatre in Shimla.
The event was dedicated to the “Drug-Free Himachal” campaign by HIM TV Entertainment. Talents who have achieved outstanding achievements in various fields, including film, media, social service, education, art, and culture, were honored.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Rajiv Rana said, “Drugs are a curse that hinders the dreams of our youth and the progress of society. Platforms like art, cinema, and culture are the most effective means of guiding youth in a positive direction. Only our collective efforts can create a drug-free, progressive, and prosperous Himachal.”
He further stated, “It is our responsibility to promote Himachal’s rich culture and traditions. If today’s youth channel their talents in the right direction, they can bring glory not only to their families but also to the state and the country. The government and society must work together to create platforms that provide opportunities to youth and keep them away from drug addiction.”
On this occasion, film artists, social workers, academics, and young talents from various districts of Himachal were honored with the HCAA Award 2025. State Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani served as the chief guest, along with several senior officials, media representatives, social workers, and numerous dignitaries.
