E-KYC verification work of more than 70 percent beneficiaries of various social security schemes has been completed in Solan district. This information was given here today by District Welfare Officer Solan Gava Singh Negi.
Gava Singh Negi said that e-KYC of the beneficiaries of various social security schemes has to be completed by August 31, 2025. He said that completion of e-KYC will bring more transparency in the implementation of the social security scheme and the benefits will reach the targeted sections on time. He urged all the social security scheme beneficiaries of Solan district to cooperate in completing e-KYC by August 31, 2025.
He said that the verification of beneficiaries for the e-KYC process is being done on the e-Kalyan mobile app. This work is being done through Anganwadi workers. E-KYC work is being done in all 1281 Anganwadi centers of the district. He said that for e-KYC verification, the beneficiaries of the social security scheme should contact their nearest Anganwadi center and get this work done by bringing their Aadhar card and other necessary documents.
The District Welfare Officer said that at present there are a total of 52479 social security scheme beneficiaries in Solan district. Out of these, e-KYC of 36488 beneficiaries has been completed.
Gava Singh Negi said that in Solan district, e-KYC of 2605 social security scheme beneficiaries has been done in Arki, 3701 in Baddi, 3634 in Darlaghat, 1933 in Kandaghat, 2444 in Kasauli, 2032 in Krishnagarh, 1333 in Kunihar, 1039 in Loharghat, 955 in Mamlig, 4373 in Nalagarh, 3330 in Panjhera, 477 in Parwanoo, 2381 in Ramshahar and 6251 in Solan.
He urged the residents of the district to inform the social security scheme beneficiaries near them about the e-KYC scheme so that the verification work of all the social security scheme beneficiaries of the district can be completed. Completion of this work will make it easier for the beneficiaries and the department to work in the future.
