The competition began with a talk by Dr. Santanu Mukherjee from the School of Agriculture. He spoke about the dangers of microplastics and how they affect the environment. He also emphasised that both developing and developed countries need to work together to reduce plastic pollution.
Students from the School of Biotechnology gave a presentation on practical ways to promote sustainability. They encouraged students to use less plastic, avoid skincare products with harmful chemicals, promote sustainable fashion, and adopt eco-friendly lifestyle choices.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Nitika Thakur, Chandresh Kumari, Dr. Aditi, and Shubhangi Sood. Their support and guidance played a key role in making the event successful.
