Shimla
Earthquake tremors were felt in Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla and other districts of the state on Tuesday afternoon.
Although the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of five kilometers underground in Nepal, its mild tremors were also felt in many parts of the state. However, no damage has been reported due to the earthquake. The intensity of the earthquake has been estimated at 6.2 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was recorded at around 2:51 am.
