Education Minister inaugurated the lift drinking water scheme constructed at a cost of Rs 1.28 crore in Parali Badruni
Education Minister Rohit Thakur today inaugurated the village Kuffarbagh Lift Drinking Water Scheme from Saloog Nala constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore 28 lakh in Gram Panchayat Parali Badruni under Sub Division Kotkhai. It is worth noting that about 1000 residents of 5 villages will be benefited from this scheme.
Addressing the people present in a public meeting organized on this occasion, he said that work is going on on an important and ambitious project in the direction of drinking water in the entire Jubbal Navar Kotkhai, under which the target is to provide drinking water lifted from the Pabbar river to 27 panchayats of the assembly. Rs 38 crore is being spent on this project and it will soon be dedicated to the people so that people will get relief from the scarcity of water especially in summers.
On this occasion, Rohit Thakur also planted a tree and gave the message of environmental protection.
26 crores sanctioned for upgradation of Pudug Rioghati road
Earlier, Rohit Thakur reached Riog village under Deori Khaneti Panchayat and established communication with local villagers and party workers.
In his address, he said that he has an emotional connection with Reog village. While discussing the development works done in Deori Khaneti Panchayat, Rohit Thakur said that during the tenure of the present government, all-round and unprecedented development has taken place in Deori Khaneti under which the administration has successfully passed the Alaang-Naxetli-Reoghati via Kangi Nala road, which has been constructed at a cost of 2.92 crores. Apart from this, Rs 26 crore has been sanctioned for the development of the important Pudaag Reoghati road of Kotkhai area and its work is in progress. This road will be an important road connecting Kotkhai and Nawar area. He said that at present Rs 400 crore is being spent on road construction in the entire assembly constituency so that every village can be connected with road facility. Along with this, the construction work of the building of Government Senior Secondary School Deori Khaneti is in progress at a cost of Rs 25 lakh.
10 primary health centers are being constructed in the entire assembly constituency
He informed that buildings of 10 Primary Health Centres are being constructed in the entire assembly constituency, which also includes the Primary Health Centre Deori Khaneti which is under construction at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 82 lakh.
Rohit Thakur also announced to give Rs 5 lakh for the construction of Devi Nandan temple located in Khaneti.
During this, Rohit Thakur also met the people of Jaashla and other villages and after listening to their problems, assured them of their solution.
