Education Minister Rohit Thakur today inaugurated the Panchayat Bhawan constructed at a cost of Rs 35 lakh and the Community Bhawan constructed at a cost of Rs 18 lakh in Gram Panchayat Jhadag under Sub Division Jubbal.
On this occasion, he congratulated the residents of Gram Panchayat Jhadag and explained that various buildings are being constructed in his constituency to provide maximum public convenience and strengthen the infrastructure. In this series, these two buildings are being dedicated to the public in Jhadag today.
He also stated that while the construction of the Panchayat Bhawan will bring greater efficiency to the work of Panchayati Raj institutions, the construction of the community building will facilitate the villagers in carrying out social work. Rohit Thakur also inspected the construction of the Primary Health Center building in Jhadag, which is being constructed at a cost of ₹1.87 crore.
Rohit Thakur stated that during the previous Congress government’s tenure, 10 primary health centers were approved for the then-Jubbal-Kotkhai assembly constituency, of which the Jhadag health center is one. He directed all officials and workers involved in the construction to complete the building as soon as possible so that people can have access to better health services at home.
*Meeting held regarding the Shanta Mahayagna to be held in Jhadag*
Rohit Thakur chaired a meeting with officials and local villagers regarding the upcoming Shanti Mahayagna (sacred fire ritual) in Jhadag on December 4th, 5th, and 6th. Providing information on the matter, Rohit Thakur stated that this Shanti Mahayagna is being held after 54 years in honor of the deity Nageshwar. It is noteworthy that Nageshwar is a major deity of the Bushahr region, worshipped by villagers from five panchayats. Thousands of people are expected to attend the Mahayagna. According to information provided by the deity committee members, approximately 20 deities from the Bushahr region have been invited to the event. Under these circumstances, it is essential to streamline and strengthen the arrangements. Rohit Thakur discussed with top officials from the police, medical, electricity, water power, public works, fire brigade, and all other important departments and instructed them to ensure that all facilities are fully organized and robust so that participants do not face any inconvenience. He emphasized parking, water supply, and electricity, urging officials in these departments to complete their preparations in time to avoid last-minute disruptions. He urged local villagers to coordinate with the officials to ensure the Shanti Mahayagna is successfully and safely completed.
On this occasion, Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Jhadag Ashok Sarta, BDC member Manoj, Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Kaina Rupinder Dhalata, Youth Congress President Jubbal Kotkhai Deepak Kalta, Naib Tehsildar Jubbal, BDO Jubbal and officers and employees of all other departments were present.
