Kullu
On the basis of the report and recommendation received from the SDMs of Banjar and Manali sub-divisions, Deputy Commissioner Kullu and Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority Torul S. Ravish have issued orders to close all educational institutions in both subdivisions on September 12, 2025.
This includes schools, DIET, Anganwadi centers, colleges, ITI, polytechnics, and engineering and pharmacy colleges (both government and private). This decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety and interest of the students. The Deputy Commissioner has directed all the concerned authorities to ensure strict compliance with the orders.
