Workshop organized for training and placement in technical university
Hamirpur. Every educational institution should make a provision of a fixed budget every year for the training and placement cell, so that better arrangements can be made for training and placement of the students studying in the educational institution. This was said by the Vice Chancellor of Technical University, Prof. Shashi Kumar Dhiman in the workshop. A workshop was organized on Friday at Himachal Pradesh Technical University Hamirpur. The workshop was chaired by the Vice Chancellor of Technical University, Prof. Shashi Kumar Dhiman, while the chief guest was Vice Chancellor of Sardar Patel University Mandi, Prof. Lalit Awasthi. Prof. Dhiman said that all the professors will have to work seriously on training and placement for the future of the students. In the workshop, Training and Placement Officer of NIT Hamirpur, Dr. Somesh Sharma gave detailed information about training and placement. At the same time, Vishal Sood of Alma Way Network Private Limited Company told about the software related to training and placement. On this occasion, Dean Academic of Technical University, Prof. Jaydev, Director cum Principal of affiliated educational institutions and Nodal Officers of Training and Placement Cell and Professors of Technical University were present. In the second session of the workshop, it was told that with the help of software, students will not only get employment opportunities but will also be able to prepare for interviews. Let us tell you that the Technical University has signed an agreement with Alma Way Network Private Limited Company to provide this facility to the students. Under this agreement, the university has purchased a special Placement & Alumni Database software at a cost of approximately six lakh rupees. Through the software, students of colleges affiliated to HPTU will be able to participate in online or offline interviews in various companies according to their field. This facility will be available to the students of those colleges who will use this software by taking the license.

Chief guest of the workshop and Vice Chancellor of Sardar Patel University Mandi, Prof Lalit Awasthi said that strengthening the training and placement cell in educational institutions is a good initiative for the overall development of students. With the help of software, not only will employment opportunities be provided to students, but it will also play an important role in the overall development of the student.
