Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Mukesh Repaswal informed that the Election Commission of India has activated contact centers at the district level for quick resolution of all election-related complaints and suggestions of the citizens. Citizens can now get their election-related matters and complaints resolved by using the National Voter Helpline 1950 and the Book-a-Call with BLO facility. He informed that the contact centers established at the district level will be functional every working day during office hours where timely assistance will be available to the citizens in the local language.
He added that citizens and other stakeholders can also obtain election-related services and information through the central helpline toll-free number 1800-11-1950. This toll-free service will be operational from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
He said that all complaints and queries will be registered and monitored through the National Grievance Service Portal, which will ensure transparent and effective disposal of complaints.
Apart from this, through the Book a Call with BLO facility, citizens will be able to directly contact the Booth Level Officer and Election Officers through the ECINET App, where the disposal of the request received by the Chief Electoral Officer, District Electoral Officer and Enrollment Officers will be ensured within 48 hours.
He said that citizens can also send their complaints to complaints@eci.gov.in .
The District Election Officer has requested the citizens to take maximum advantage of these facilities for election related information, suggestions, complaints or assistance.
