Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi said that the state government is emphasizing on strengthening the rural economy with the active participation of youth and women. Sanjay Awasthi was addressing the gathering at the ‘MLA Aapke Dwar’ program in Pakoti (Banjan) of Sanghoi Gram Panchayat of Arki Assembly Constituency of Solan district today.
The MLA offered prayers at Maa Kamaksha temple and prayed for everyone’s prosperity, health and happiness.
Earlier, Sanjay Awasthi inaugurated the school building of Government High School Pakoti constructed with an amount of Rs 90 lakh. He laid the foundation stone of the playground to be constructed for the school and also inaugurated the community building constructed in the Maa Kamaksha temple complex in Banjan village.
The MLA said that the aim of the state government is to strengthen the economy of the state by strengthening the rural economy. To fulfill this objective, work is being done to increase employment and self-employment along with the overall development of agriculture, animal husbandry and horticulture sectors. The state government has set a target of bringing one lakh new farmers under natural farming. There has been a record increase in the support price of milk and for the Shiva project, attention is being paid to fruit production in accordance with the climate of the region.
He said that the efforts of the state government to make education accessible to all are bearing fruit. He said that a digital library will soon be established at the Government High School Pakoti at a cost of Rs 18 lakh. With the establishment of this library, the best books will be available to the youth and everyone will be able to benefit from knowledge.
He directed the concerned officials to repair the transformer for better electricity facility in the area and to increase the capacity of the transformer as per requirement.
On this occasion, he listened to the problems of the people and directed the officials to resolve them quickly.
He announced to give Rs. 3 lakh for the construction of playground in Government High School Pakoti. He announced to give Rs. 2 lakh for the community hall in Maa Kamaksha Temple premises Banjan. He announced to give Rs. 21,000 each to Mahila Mandal and Yuvak Mandal Banjan and Rs. 1 lakh for the construction of road in Pakoti village. He announced to give Rs. 1100 to school children for cultural programs.
